Quick Start

  1. Connect - Click "Play Now" or visit /game to open the web client
  2. Create a character - Follow the on-screen prompts to choose your name, race, and class
  3. Look around - Type look to see your surroundings
  4. Move - Type directions like north, south, east, west
  5. Get help - Type help for in-game assistance
Tip

Most commands can be abbreviated. For example, n for north, l for look, i for inventory.

Web Client Features

The Mystic MUD web client includes several features to enhance your experience:

  • Color themes - Choose from Classic Green, Amber, Blue, Purple, or Matrix
  • Command history - Use arrow keys to scroll through previous commands
  • Quick command toolbar - One-click buttons for common actions
  • Auto-reconnect - Automatically reconnect if your connection drops
  • Mobile support - Fully optimized for phones and tablets
  • Adjustable font size - Use A+ and A- buttons to resize text

Alternative Connection Methods

While the web client is the easiest way to play, you can also connect using:

  • Telnet - telnet mysticmud.com 3000 (TLS: port 3100)
  • MUD Clients - Use clients like MUSHclient, Mudlet, or TinTin++ with host mysticmud.com port 3000 (TLS: port 3100)
